Neighbor To Family provides community-based specialized foster care services to children of sibling groups. The program components include intensive case management and wrap-around services, monthly family team meetings, individual, family and group therapy, coordination of medical and other care needs, aggressive outreach to birth parents, collaboration with interested parties and community stake holders, and strong advocacy.  Services are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  Special emphasis is given to achieving permanency goals for children within 12 months of placement.

Therapeutic foster care services support the local Department of Social Services in working with children who have been authorized as meeting the "medical necessity" criteria for specialized placement services, and therapeutic support services.  We recruit, train and supervise the homes of foster caregivers who express a desire to work with this specific population of children and their families. As with all of our foster care services we work with the whole case, supporting the case plan and the work of the foster care worker by identifying and helping to remove barriers that the biological family may experience in completing the case plan and in maintaining connection with their children. We offer highly skilled case management and maintain a constant flow of communication on the progress and needs of each individual child.
